LPVO: Low Power Visual Optics
Our project's primary objective was the development of an adaptable optic scope capable of achieving magnifications from 1 to 6 times. This optic scope was designed to seamlessly communicate with an integrated rangefinder, enabling automatic reticle adjustments to compensate for bullet drop over varying distances due to gravitational effects. The rangefinder's distance data was transmitted to the reticle, prompting precise elevation or depression of the center point, thereby ensuring accurate target acquisition without extensive user training or manual adjustments. This innovation streamlined the aiming process, requiring minimal user input for effective targeting.
